2014 Agricolo Forcella Intosso Extra Virgin Olive Oil 250ml
The Forcella Intosso extra virgin olive oil is produced in Abruzzo, Italy from the Intosso variety of olive. It is from the recent 2014 harvest and was cold pressed using the continuous cycle method. Its aroma is complex and rotund, with fruity hints of medium ripe tomato, banana, and white apple and artichoke, Its taste is rich and fragrant with an elegant flavor of basil and mint. Its bitterness is fairly strong and pungency is definite.
It is ideal on bean appetizers, salmon carpaccio, legume salads, steamed vegetables, risotto with chanterelle mushrooms, stewed shellfish and baked poultry or lamb.
