The Guadagnolo Primus organic extra virgin olive oil comes from the Fattoria Ramerino farm in Tuscany, Italy which was just named by the Flos Olei International Olive Oil Competition as having the the top olive oils in the world for 2017. Produced from the olive varietals Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino and Americano its aroma is ample and rotund, rich in hints of artichoke, thistle and chicory. Its taste is full and complex with distinct bitterness and pungency.
USES: It pairs well with strong flavored foods such as lentil appetizers, beef carpaccio, porcini mushrooms, marinated octopus, legume soups, pasta with meat sauce, grilled tuna and grilled or baked red meat or game.
